<p>NEW MATERIAL:An ester compound shown by formula I (k, l, m and n are 0-3 and may be the same or different with the proviso that all of them are not 0;, a, b, c and d are 0 or 1 and may be the same or different with the proviso that all of them are not 0). USE:Useful as a heat-resistant lubricant, lubricant for magnetic recording mediums, fiber treating agent for various fibers such as waterproof fibers or anti- staining fibers, surface treating agent for paper or leather, antifouling coating compound, various kinds of wax such as car wax, additive for printing ink and back treating agent for tacky tape. PREPARATION:For example, 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid as an acid component is esterified with a fluorinated alcohol shown by formula II (p is 1-3) to give a compound shown by formula I.</p> |
