PURPOSE:To obtain the auxiliary exposure device which obviates entry of stray light and permits sharp cut of images by inserting the leading end of the mirror member of the auxiliary exposure device in the optical path of the reflected luminous flux from the original surface. CONSTITUTION:The original 10 is placed on an original platen 11 and is radiated by a lighting device 12, whereby slit scanning exposure is done on a drum 1. The reflected luminous flux from the original 10 is radiated onto the drum 1 through mirrors 13, 14 and imaging lens 2. A sharp cut exposure device 15 is constituted by a mirror member 16 and illuminating lamp 17. Here, if the leading end of the mirror member (prism) 16 is inserted into the center of the slit luminous flux or at least part of the luminous flux, then sharp cut exposure is feasible. Thereby, the stray light which has entered in conventional methods may be prevented and the sharp cut of the images of good sharpness done. |
