PURPOSE:To enable to extract oil with ease, by connecting an oil extracting connector between an oil filter fixing portion and an oil filter, and forming an oil extracting port between them. CONSTITUTION:Connector 10 having oil passage 11 therein is placed on filter fixing member 1 in the manner that projection 3 is fitted in opening 19b, and connecting pipe 20 is inserted into the connector 10 through its oil outlet port 18 and threaded onto projection 3 by internal thread 22a and external thread 3 until lower end face 22b at the lower end 22 of connector 10 comes into contact with bottom plate 19a and packing 15 comes into hermetical contact with the upper surface 1a of member 1. Then, by threading external thread 21a into internal thread 6a of oil returning port 6, oil filter 5 is coupled onto connecting pipe 20 until packing 7 comes into hermetical contact with the upper surface 17 of connector 10, whereby connector 10 can be fixed tightly between oil filter 5 and oil filter fixing member 1. With such an arrangement, oil change can be carried out promptly by starting engine operation after connecting a hose with the oil extracting passage being opened. |
