PURPOSE:To realize a three-hole balancing method that is reduced in the number of working processes compared with a four-hole method and improved in precision compared with a two-hole method. CONSTITUTION:In balancing a thin rotary component 1, its shaft 2 is put on a knife edge, oscillated and its heavier portion is directed downward in the first place to detect the direction of initial positive unbalance. Secondly, the first amount of unbalance 1a to be removed is added in the direction normal to the unbalance minus alpha, where alpha=sin<-1>(maximum value of total initial unbalance)divided by 2X(unbalance to be removed). Then the second amount of unbalance 1b to be removed is added in the direction normal to the positive unbalance produced by the above process minus beta, where beta=sin<-1>(1+cosalpha)/4. Lastly the third unbalance 1c is added in the direction of positive unbalance produced by these processes. |
