PURPOSE:To make possible the two-dimensional and three-dimensional changing- over of the feed bar, simplify constitution and reduce size and weight by selecting the revolutions of a drive system to an equal speed and an unequal speed by a clutch means. CONSTITUTION:In the case of letting a feed bar 33 make three-dimensional operation, a jaw clutch 6 is moved downward by an operating handle 8, by which the revolution of a drive shaft 3 is transmitted to a drive gear 5, by which the housing 12a of an unequal speed mechanism 12 is revolved. As a result, the dwell in the return end and advance end becomes wider than that of equal speed revolutions and the three-dimensional motion of the feed bar 33 becomes feasible. On the other hand, in the case of changing-over the feed bar 33 to two-dimensional operation, the jaw clutch 6 is moved upward and since this causes the revolution of the drive shaft 3 to revolve gears 19 and 20 at an equal speed, the feed stroke suited for the two-dimensional operation of the feed bar 33 becomes obtainable for the feed stroke of the feed bar 33. |
