<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an anti-rattle spring from plunging too much in a caliper window and keep it stable in spring function, by forming on it a stopper for engaging with the caliper. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 10 of a disc brake is equipped with an inner pad 14 solidly composed of a lining 12 and back plate 13 on one side, and an outer pad 17 solidly composed of a lining 15 and back plate 16 on the other side, with an anti-rattle spring 24 being set between both pads 14, 17 and a caliper 18. The spring 24 is formed symmetrical with a protion 25 to be inserted in a window 23 of the caliper 18, parallel connectors 29, 30, for example, being extended from the right side 28 to a springer 31. A stopper 33 is extended between both connectors 29, 30 and engaged with the caliper for prveneting the spring from being inserted too deep in the window 23.</p> |
