PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostrictive vibrator the deformation of which is efficiently propagated to the diaphragm and which has less variation in the electrostrictiveness by forming grooves in either of junction faces of both the diaphragm and electrostrictive vibrator at least and by joining the two on making the grooves adhesive sumps. CONSTITUTION:The grooves 13 are formed in the outer surface of the diaphragm 3, the adhesive 2 is injected into the grooves 13 while the electrostrictive vibrator 1 to which the electrodes 4, 5 are attached is pressed against the diaphragm, and both the elements are joined with each other in a body. Such grooves can also be formed in the surface of electrode 5. When the electrostrictive vibrator 1 and the diaphragm 3 are attached to each other in a body, no inclination between both elements is caused by the adhesive layer. Also the electrostrictiveness to the applied voltage level can be made greater since the electrostrictive vibrator and the diaphragm are sticked to each other while the two are pressed against each other. |
