PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of a pump by providing a groove on both sides of a vane and fitting an elasic sealing material with high wear resistance in said groove. CONSTITUTION:A groove 11 is formed on both sides of a vane 10 fitted in a slot 9 of a rotor 6, a sealing material 12 with high wear resistance is fitted in the groove 11, and the outside of the sealing material 12 is elastically pressed to contact the side wall of a casing 1. A clearance between both sides of the vane 10 and the side wall of the casing 1 is completely sealed thereby, and thus a fluid will not leak between the vane 10 and the casing 1. A pump efficiency can be remarkably improved accordingly. |
