PURPOSE:To improve performance of battery after overcharge for a long time by adding successively organic solvent dispersion liquids of organic solent and fluorine resin to active material powder containing mainly CdO, mixing and kneading them, further adding dissociative salt to same, solidifying these material and then applying them on a base plate. CONSTITUTION:After active material powder mainly containing CdO is mixed with organic solvent such as ethyleneglycol, polypropyleneglycol, fluorine resin, for example, polytetrafluoroethylene powder or equivalent material powder dispersed into organic solvent such as alcohol is added to and mixed with the above-mentioned mixture. Then to this mixed liquid is added dissociative salt, for example, KCl, NaCl or solution containing these salt to be solidified. Thereafter this solidified material is roll pressed and applied on porous supporting body. |
