PURPOSE:To increase water making rate and enhance thermal efficiency by performing heating of brine dividedly and utilizing the heat medium of low temperature for evaporation as well. CONSTITUTION:The heat medium from a heat collector 24 is circulating in heaters 5-7. The temperatures of the heaters 5-7 are subsequently lowering. In a vertical multistage flash evaporation unit 1, the temperature are maintained higher in the upper evaporating chambers. The sea water introduced by a pump 29 is heat-exchanged with the vapors being evaporated in the evaporating chambers VII, VIII and is condensed, after which it is discharged from a pipe 21. Part of it passes through a pipe 22 then through tube bundle 14-1 and enters the heater 5 of the maximum temperature where it is heated, thence it is admitted into the 1st stage evaporating chamber I, where it is subjected to flash evaporation. The vapor evaporated by this enters a condenser 9 and the concentrated brine spouts from the pores 12 of a bottom plate 11 into the next stage II, where it is subjected to flash evaporation. On the other hand, the brine past the tube bundle 14-2 is heated in the heater 6 and is subjected to flash evaporation in the evaporating chamber III. In this way, the condensed water is taken out by a pump 31 and the concentrated brine by a pump 30. Thus, the heating medium of high, medium and low temperatures may be effectively utilized. |
