<p>Two sections in a spatial arrangement relative to each other form an inherently stable three-dimensional load bearing entity. They are used in a building unit, esp. constructed of concrete. Interfacing and surfaces of two individual components forming these sections are at a predetermined interval apart in a finishing plane, and connected by a lost turning hinge joint, to swivel together. The pivotal point (D) is selected so that when the sections are swung in, part of the end face of one is supported on a surface section on the top or bottom of the other. This is widely adaptable, and compact for transport, but requires only simple formwork.</p> |
