PURPOSE:To readily produce the printing plate of enhanced vacuum adhesiveness during contact printing and of uniform quality by evenly depositing heat-fusible fine powder of the specific grain sizes on a photosensitive printing plate surface and at the same time superposing protecting paper on the surface where said fine powder has been deposited. CONSTITUTION:Heat-fusible fine powder of fixed direction sizes (grain sizes)0.5- 40mu (solid powder having the 1st or 2nd transiation point lower than the 1st transition point of the photosensitive layer of the photosensitive printing plate) is evenly sprayed and deposited, at 0.005-5g/1m<2> of the printing plate surface, on the surface of the printing plate (PS plate or the like) 1 having been heated by a preheating roller 14, by a feeder 3. Next, it is passed through a heating roll 4 and pressure- contact roll 5 and is fed by being carried on a roll 6. On the other hand, protecting paper 8 is contacted to the roll 4 by rolls 9, 10 to clean the roll 4, after which it is superposed on the surface of the printing plate 2 having been fused with the heat-fusible fine powder by a pair of conveying rolls 7, whereby the product is obtained. Since the protecting paper 8 cleans the roll 4 surface, there is no need for any special cleaning device. |
