PURPOSE:To secure the easy and high-accuracy manufacture of the @-miniature branching fiter for polarized light for the high-frequency band use by using the power distributor having no small coupling hole and the hybrid circuit. CONSTITUTION:The orthogonal polarized waves A and B transmitted to square waveguide 1 are led to power distributor 7 consisting of metal plate 6 which is provided so as to increase its height in the paper form to divide the cross-section of waveguide 1 into two equal oblong cross-sections, and then distributed to two units of connection waveguide 8 each. In that case, wave A is divided into two equal parts with the fields of opposite phases to each other, and wave B is also divided into two equal parts with the same phase respectively. Thus equally divided waves A and B are led to terminals 10 and 11 of magic T, and then divided waves A and B are delivered individually to terminals 12 and 13 each. |
