PURPOSE:To achieve higher performance by using three rows of contrast-detecting photo detector arrays. CONSTITUTION:Half mirros 7, 8 are disposed between a photographing lens 2 and a film surface 6 and below these is installed the substrate 16 disposed with three rows of contrast-detecting photo detector arrays 3-5 constituted respectively by the same number by leaving spacings I, H, via the optical system consisting of glass blocks 12-15. As a result of this, the incident luminous flux from the photographing lens 2 is split to two and is observed by the eyes 12 through the focal plane 17 and condenser lens etc. At the same time, it enters the contrast-detecting photo detector arrays 3-5 through a half mirror 9 and mirror 11 and by comparing the contrast outputs thereof. the front and rear defocusings and focus matching are detected. Hence, the focus matching defect owing to hand blurr such as in the case of the system of moving the photographing lens 2 by moving single sensor does not occur. |
