The solar heat collector comprises a box-section housing with passages through it for the heat transfer medium. Along the lengthwise edges (2, 2') of the housing (1) are locking members enclosing lengthwise grooves, and closing covers (13) are fitted at its open ends. It can be formed by a length cut off from a continuous profiled section, with a protruding fixing strip (3) along one edge, above which is a locking groove (4) open to the top. The other edge has a locking groove (5) open to the bottom, and a recess (6) for the strip of an adjacent housing.
