PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a solar cell while checking the alloy of an electrode and a substrate by providing a transparent conductive layer between a back electrode and a thin film solar cell semiconductor substrate. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 2 is provided on the surface of a transparent glass substrate 1 for receiving a ray of light incident in order to take out the output for photoelectric conversion. An amorphous silicon element connected electrically to this electrode 2 is made to grow in the shape of a plate out of a monosilane gas, etc., and impurites are doped to obtain a solar cell. A transparent conductive layer 4 is provided on the back surface of this light receiving surface so that the alloy of a semiconductor element 3 and a back electrode 5 is checked. A light output is taken out outwardly of the back electrode 5. |
