Loading vehicle for aircraft - has independent control ramp with tilt mounting and scissors arms

A loading vehicle for an aircraft has the load surface lifted on scissors shaped servo arms (1) to raise the load to the height of the aircraft hatch. Access to the hatch is via a loading ram (9) over the lorry cab and operated by separate scissors arms (17). Additional control is provided to tilt the loading ramp, the load surfacr to adapt to the slope of the aircraft for easy load handling. The ramp can be extended and st in any inclination to suit different aircraft. The driving position for the vehicle can be raised with the ramp for accurate control in positioning the ramp into the aircraft hatch.
