Masonry building block with service provision - has grooves aligned for rows to hold electrical and other ducts

The building (1) is designed to simplify fitting of service installations, esp. electrical systems. It incorporates one or more slit grooves which form rows when a wall is built, so that the wall has one or more continuous transverse grooves. Tubes for electrical service leads can be inlaid, and rendered in. There may be a widened groove for two such tubes, and length-ways or vertical grooves can also be provided; also wider and deeper ones for hearing or water pipes. Such blocks can be prefabricated, saving expensive work on site.
