PURPOSE:To eliminate the difference between the actual and desired impulse replies which could not be avoided with the Campbell's method, by giving the right or left parallel shift to the opposing electrode edges. CONSTITUTION:Tooth parts 22 and 32 of the 1st and 2nd comb-line type electrodes which are adjacent to each other to secure the opposite potential are distributed with a slight right or left parallel shift given to their opposing electrode eges. As a result, the impluse reply sample value of ¦a2n¦>¦a2n+1¦ before the parallel shift is changed to ¦a2n¦=¦a2n+1¦ after the shift. The same parallel shift operation is given among all other split electrodes which are adjacent to one another to secure the opposite potential. And thus such split electrode distribution is secured for n as to satisfy a2n=-a2n+1. At the same time, the engagement width of the electrodes to be engaged is set to be 2Wn=2¦an¦, thus eliminating the difference of the impulse replies. |
