PURPOSE:To guide the reflection light to the outside of a rotary mirror to prevent a harmful light from being projected onto the recording face and improve a print quality, by inclining the reflection glass material, which is provided between the polyhedral rotary mirror and the recording face, to the axis direction of the rotary mirror. CONSTITUTION:The light from laser light source 1 is turned on and off by modulator 3 after reflected by reflection mirror 2, and modulated light 4 becomes light 7 through reflection mirror 5 and expander lens 6 and is reflected by polyhedral rotary mirror 8 and is projected onto photoconductive material drum 11 through projection lens 9 and glass 10. Images of light spots are combined to form characters, etc., by rotating drum 11 and modulator 3 synchronously. In this case, glass 10 is provided with inclination theta as shown by chain line 10'. As a result, most of light beam 71 are transmitted through glass 10 as it is to forcus the light spot onto recording face 11', and reflection light 72' does not reach rotary mirror 8. |
