A trolley for loading rolls of cloth from a loom has a trough shaped support for the rolls and a main frame with two castor wheels at the rear. Two further wheels are mounted at the ends of frame arms hinged on each end of the main frame to assume a support position under the trough for transport. The frame arms are swung into a flush mounting with the main frame when the roll is pulled from the loom. This allows the trolley to be moved close to the loom. The width of the trolley to be moved close to the loom. The width of the trolley and roll is not much more than the width of the roll so that it can be moved between the different stages of the loom.
