摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect accurately a signal charge without malfunction, by driving an inverter when the potential difference between two outputs of a differential amplifier circuit reaches a prescribed value in a CCD memory, etc. CONSTITUTION:Reference charge QR and signal charge QS from a CCD memory, etc., are supplied to two nodes N1 and N2 of differential amplifier circuit 1 respectively, and nodes N1 and N2 are connected to respective gates of E/E-type MOS inverter 2 consisting of MOSFET-T7 for driver and MOSFET-T8 for load, and inverter 2 is driven by clock phi3 and converts the balanced output of circuit 1 to an unbalanced output and outputs it. In this case, the area of gate regions of T7 and T8 is equal to each other to make load capacities for nodes N1 and N2 equal to each other, and inverter 2 is driven after the output potential difference between N1 and N2 reaches a prescribed value. As a result, the signal charge is detected accurately.
