PURPOSE:To obtain a slave tape from a digital disc to prevent damage of a master tape, by subjecting analogue signals, which are recorded on the master tape, to digital conversion and time base conversion and recording them onto the digital disc. CONSTITUTION:Signals recorded on master tape 2 are applied to analogue-digital conversion circuit 9 and are written into time base change memory 11a. When contents of the memory are read out through contact 12a, the time base is compressed, and the read output is recorded on magnetic disc 13. When this magnetic disc is mounted on plural magnetic disc reproducing devices 15a, 15b and 15c and they are operated in parallel, signals are read out through digital-analogue conversion circuits 19a, 19b and 19c and are compressed to a speed as 32 times as high as the normal speed and are recorded onto slave sound recording device 21a. Consequently, a slave tape can be obtaned in the 1/32 time of the normal tape speed without high-speed rotation of the tape, and wear of the master tape can be prevented. |
