PURPOSE:To indicate quasi-periodic phenomonon such as the moon's age on an analog display unit of a digital watch by forming a drive signal for correcting the accumulated error due to irregular period. CONSTITUTION:The frequency of a standard oscillator 1 is divided by a frequency divider 2 to display the time through an hour counter 3 on a digital display unit 12 and simultaneously count the output from the counter 3 at a calendar counter 4 to display the calendar indication. A control circuit 5 obtains the moon's age in predetermined calculation from the signal of the counter 4, and calculates the error correcting amount when discriminating the transfer of the months in solar calendar. A drive signal forming circuit 6 forms a drive signal corrected according to the calculated result, and supplies it to a step motor 9 to indicate the hand 11 on analog indication. Thus, the quasi-periodic phenomenon can be indicated as the moon's age on analog display unit of a digital watch. |
