The invention concerns a method and equipment for lifting several concrete elements, in particular prestressed elements 26,27,28,29 cast at intervals in rows one after the other in internally-separated moulds 7,8,9,10, between which elements reinforcing material 12 extends at least in an upper part of the element. When the method is implemented, a lifting force is applied between certain elements at the same time as a thrust-carrying support is introduced between the lower parts of the gable ends of these elements so that the moment created during the lift is balanced by the tensile forces in the reinforcing material and the thrust forces in the support. The arrangement for carrying out this method consists essentially of a thrust block 23,24,25 which is introduced between two elements 7,8 and 9,10 in order to carry the thrust load between them.
