PURPOSE:To ensure that cage pockets are aligned axially and cages can be accumulated in the axial direction by a method wherein axially projected projections are provided on the lower end faces of ball embracing portions, and the projections are fitted in recesses formed in the upper end face of another annular member. CONSTITUTION:Projections 7 smaller in width than ball embracing portions 5 and having an adequate axial length and a circumferentially sloped face are provided on the central portions of lower end faces of the portions 5. The upper face of an annular member 1 is formed, at regular intervals, with recesses 10 having a width slightly larger than the maximum width of the projections 7 in the circumferential direction and covering a range from a joint portion to parts of adjacent cage pockets. Circumferential side ends of the recesses 10 are each formed with a stepped portion 11 which serves as a hook portion for the projection 7. By fitting the projections 7 of one cage in the recesses 10 of another cage and engaging the inside end faces of the projections 7 with the stepped portions 11 of the recesses 10, circumferential movement is restrained and the cage pocket axes are aligned. |
