摘要 PURPOSE:To stabilize output light of a light-emitting unit, by constituting a compound element by keeping a light-emitting unit and a light-receiving unit close together and providing a feed-back circuit for controlling of drive current of the light-receiving unit into which output light from the light-emitting unit is radiated. CONSTITUTION:A luminous element's photooutput condition stabilizing mechanism is composed of a luminous diode 11, a light-receiving element 12, an operation amplifier 13' and a transistor 15. In this mechanism, an output light from the diode 11 is received by the element 12, and the generated electromotive force is amplified by the amplifier 13' and put into a base of the transistor 15 to control a voltage Vcc from power source and also impress the force to the diode 11 at the same time. In order to stabilize photooutput condition of the diode 11 in this mechanism, the diode 11 and the element are provided in a substrate to reduce the distance so that combination efficiency is improved. In other words, by providing a light-emitting unit 24 in an n-type GaAs layer and an n-type GaAlAs layer on an n-type GaAs substrate 20, a light-receiving unit 25 is formed in such a manner as to cover the light-emitting unit 24.
