PURPOSE:To detect the occurrence of short accident on the load circuit including direction indicator lamp by monitoring the size of load current, and to inform it at the same time as overcurrent flow into the load circuit is forbidden. CONSTITUTION:A serial connection route is provided so as to load from a battery power source 20 through a power source switch 19, a resistor 11 for detecting current composed of infinitesimal resistance value, a relay 10 and a direction indicator switch 12 to direction indicator lamp 13. And the constitution is made up such that closure of the switch 12 intermittently drives the relay together with a semiconductor integrated circuit, and one side of the direction indicator lamp 13 can be flashed. Said integrated circuit is constitutted such that it makes detecting movement for a settled period after receiving illuminating light indicating signals to drive the relay 10 from a flashing drive circuit 3 in provision of a short discriminating circuit 8 to discriminate the short condition comparing the current value flowing through the resistor 11 with direction reference value and a flashing operation forbidding circuit 9 to stop the drive of the relay 10 when the short has been detected. |
