ELASTIC PRESS FITTING STRUCTURE FOR TORQUE TRANSMISSION STEEL BALL IN TORQUE LIMITTER

PURPOSE:To enable smooth and effective action of a torque limitter by a method wherein torque transmission steel balls are pressed against a slant surface of a tapered thrust ring by an elastic press means such as elastic spring. CONSTITUTION:To an interlocking connection body 5 fitted around a moved member 4, an interlocking connection cylinder 9 is connected by fastening bolts 10 or the like. Torque transmission steel balls 7 are pressed by an elastic press means against a slant surface 13 of a tapered thrust ring 12 fitted inside the skirt hem 11 of the cylinder 9. The pressing is effected as follows: a tapered thrust ring 18 and a group of small thrust steel balls 19 are pressed against an inside slant surface 14 of the ring 12 by an elastic spring 8 which is pressed by a pressing nut 17 screwed onto the outside surface 16 of the inside skirt hem 15 of the cylinder 9.
