PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of blur detection by performing blur detection from the deviation directions of the output phases of photo sensor pairs. CONSTITUTION:Elements S0-Sn-1 having a pair of photo sensors SA0, SB0- SAn, SBn are arrayed in the X, Y directions and the CCD 13 constituting a pair of photo sensors SA0, SB0-SAn, SBn is connected to a control circuit 23 via video amplifier 15, memories 17, 18, differential circuit 20, etc. The image-forming rays of the pupil-divided objective lens are received in separate photo sensor arrays and the image by the objective lens is taken as the phase differences of the photo sensor arrays. The focus matching degree is detected by the phase differences of the outputs of a pair of the photo sensor arrays at a certain time and the blur is detected by the phase changes of the outputs of the same photo sensor arrays upon lapse of a certain time. Thereby, reliability is made higher than that of mechanical detecting means and the blur detection is made possible even in defocus regions. |
