PURPOSE:To perform distance measurement of high accuracy and make the finder easy to see by providing a half mirror which reflects the light from a movable mirror to a distance-measuring element near the finder focal plane and in the central part of the finder. CONSTITUTION:Part of light emitted from the peripheral part of a photograping lens 1 is reflected by a mirror 2 and half mirror 5 to respective directions and arrives at a distance-measuring element 6 by way of a relay lens 8. when focusing is matched, the focusing signal is displayed and the signal for stopping the lens movement is emitted. The subject image formed on the film plane is optically the same as the one having undergone distance measurement and focusing on the distance- measuring focal plane 7b positioned optically equivalent to said film plane, and therefore it becomes the focused and sharp image. With this constitution, there is no need for performing focal adjustment separately with the finder system and distance measuring system and therefore the finder operation may be done with ease. |
