Thermoplastic composition having a phosphorescent effect, particularly for the production of flexible labels, comprises a resin of low polymerisation point e.g. PVC, a plasticiser e.g. butylbenzyl phthalate and polypropenyl glycol adipate, a stabilizer having absorbancy to U.V. e.g. dicyandiamide, and a luminescent pigment encapsulated in polyvinyl alcohol e.g. Zn/CdS : Cu. A lubricating agent e.g. ethyl palmitate and a filler e.g. talc, may be included in the composition. |
