PURPOSE:To form a pure black dry image of high density and enhance the shelf stability and color fastness of the image to light by combining a specified diazo compound, specified yellow coupling component and a specified blue coupling component. CONSTITUTION:To a photosensitive layer are conbinedly added a diazo compound reprensented by formula I [where R is 1-5C alkyl; each of R1 and R2 is (substituted) alkyl, aralkyl or cycloalkyl; R1 and R2 may bond to each other to form a heterocyclic ring together with C; and X is an anion], a blue coupling component represented by formula II [where R3 is H, -(CH2)n-OH or -(CH2)n-NR5R6; n is 2-4; R4 is H, 1-4C alkoxy or halogen; each of R5 and R6 is alkyl; and R5 and R6 may bond to each other to form a heterocyclic ring together with N], and a yellow coupling component represented by formula III (where R7 is 1-5C alkyl or alkoxy). Using the resulting photosensitive material a diazo copying material which is stable during storage too is obtained. |
