<p>The lifting platform is particularly for use as a part of a theatre stage, being supported by two pairs of scissor link. The pairs of links (10, 12) also act as lifting mechanisms being coupled together by a drive synchronising their lifting movement. This drive can also be coupled to the power unit, so that the lifting movement is transmitted through it. The scissor link arms towards the platform ends (22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32) can be attached to the platform and base so that they cannot slide, so that when lifting and lowering the arms (22, '24', 26', 28', 30', 32') towards each other move outwards and inwards.</p> |
