Bridge balancing network for amplifier of carrier frequency meter - supplies output to pair of inputs of amplifier with other pair fed from divider

A bridge balancing network is used in the amplifier circuit of a carrier frequency meter. It can be converted to be used in a d.c. voltage measuring amplifier by replacing an inductive voltage divider for an ohmic voltage divider. The bridge can consist of four strain gauges, with the diagonal output of the bridge fed to the input of an amplifier (10). The amplifier feeds a display. The output signal of the bridge is fed to two input terminals of the amplifier. The other two inputs of the amplifier are fed with output of a voltage divider (4). The voltage divider is formed by the secondary windings (8) of a transformer with tappings.
