Deflector fitted to hair dryer to adjust air flow - has rotating deflector plate with high and low pressure chambers

The deflector is fitted to the nozzle of a hair dryer by a tube (1a) connected to a case (1). Inside the case there is a deflector plate (2), which can rotate, and has air holes (10). On the back face of this there are alternate of high (12, 12a) and low pressure (13, 13a, 13b) annular chambers. The walls of the high pressure chambers (14, 16) are in contact with the base of the case, in one position, to produce a diffused air flow. In another position the walls are separate from the case and the air passes directly through the openings (10).
