The end away from the wing engages a connecting piece on a jib, for connection with it in two 180 degrees offset positions. It is secured in either by an element on the end of the arm for extending a tilting and swivelling window or door wing. The connecting piece (4) is fastened to the end of the extending arm (1) outside its connecting area, so as to swivel with the jib (2). In its non-swivelling connecting position on the arm end, it is secured by the resiliently formed securing element (6). The securing element is easily operated while stable connection is provided.
