Support fixing for heavyweight curtains - is secured to ceiling in room by top plate pref. with flange

The curtain track which can take a curtain and blind rails is held by a common support part (2) which is fixed to the ceiling (22) by a top part (1) to which it is attached. The support part (2) is pref. detachably fixed to a flange (16) of the top part (1) which runs at right angles to the ceiling surface. The heavy loads from the curtain are now adequately absorbed by the ceiling. The curtains can be placed at any distance in front of the window thus enabling covering of a radiator. This method of fixing is also pref. where there is little space between the top of the window and the ceiling.
