Heated car windscreen and/or headlamp spray container - has heating coil connected to engine coolant circuit upstream of radiator

The arrangement is intended for heating the cleaning liq. for a windscreen and/or headlight spray unit in a car with a water-cooled engine (1) and pref. with an interior heater (12). The cleaning liq. container (13) contains a heating coil (24) through which the engine coolant flows. The inlet (23) to the coil is connected (20) to the coolant line (10) from the engine at a point upstram of the thermostatic valve (6) controlling the coolant flow to the radiator (9). Its outlet (25) connects (22) to the coolant line (11) leading to the coolant pump (3). The connections (20, 22) are pref. upstream and downstream respectively of the heater (12).
