Door lock assembly unit - has escutcheon and lock as entity in door recess fixed by screws

Designed for lower production costs and rapid installation the fitting unit on a door comprises lock, two plates and one or two plate-mounted handles. The plates (8) are connected to the lock (7), to form a single unit with it. This is insertable as a whole in a recess in a door which the plate cover. It is fixable in position by the screws passing through the end plate (6) of the lock. The insides of the plates may have inward-protruding points, pref. in the rear area.
