PURPOSE:To stabilize the photographic characteristic of an image even in case of reducing the replenishing amount of a replenisher by incorporating a specified compd. and a prescribed amount of a chloride in the color developer. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of the compds. shown by the formula and the halide such as KCl of >=3X10<-2>mol./l are incorporated in the color developer. In the formula, A1-A5 are each -COOM1, or -PO3M2M3 group (M1-M3 are hydrogen atom. or an alkali metal, etc.), (n) is 1 or 2. The compd. shown by the formula is exemplified by a diethylene triamine penta acetic acid (salt), etc., and the developer may contain a hydroxyl amine compd. And, the sensitive material provided an emulsion layer comprising a silver halide particle contg. >=70mol.% of AgCl is preferably developed with the color developer. |
