The circuit for correcting the vertical distortion in a t.v. image comprises a modulator (11) for modulating the line sweep current and a modulator control circuit (12). The latter receives pulses (es) at the line frequency which trigger a monostable multi-vibrator (Tc2) whose output pulses alternately switch a switching (Tc3) on and off to control the state of charge of a capacitator (Cs2) of the modulator and thus the form of the line sweep current. A parabolic correction signal (ei) applied at the frame frequency to a resister network (R3, R5) is composed by the resister network with the signal charge (e2) across the capacitor (Cs2), the two signals being opposite in phase, and the resultant applied to a transistor (Tc,) which varies the monostable pulse width accordingly. The use of a switching transistor reduces the power consumption of the circuit and enhances its life.
|
