Wall damp repellent injection zone - has lower moisture pressure and temp. at bottom, and pref. top air access

For combating capillary-rising moisture, non-hygroscopic injections are applied to damp masonry. The position of the injection zone (3, 4) inside the masonry (2, 5) is selected so that the part facing the base has significantly lower moisture pressure and temp. than the part of the masonry above the zone. The top part of the zone is pref. accessible to environmental air. The zone is pref. partially or mainly below ground level (9), and at least half as high as wall thickness. This effectively reduces danger of salt deposit below the zone, and of recondensation above it.
