A folding pedal car for a child has a tubular frame with the steering column (9) on supports (4) which fold flat for storage and transport, while the seat back also folds flat. The bottom ends of the column supports have rapid coupling fasteners to set in upright or folded settings and the steering wheel is shaped to fit over the cover of the chain drive. The pedal car is simple and light-weight. It can be folded without any special tools, with the couplings strong enough not to collapse. The steering column is an angle rod which links to the track rods to each wheel.
