The swivel-up front flap (9) which has side vapour collecting panels is held secure in the raised position by a detachable stop joint (12). An additional support joint (14) is provided which serves to hold the front flap (8) horizontal when the stop joint (12) is released to allow the filter to be changed. The support joint (14) is pref. in two parts comprising a rod-like holder (14a) attached to the cupboard body and a support bearing (14b) for the holder (14a) fastened to the front flap (8). The detachable connection between the two articulated parts (14a, 14b) is prod. by the wt. of the front flap (8).
