The mechanism moves the head (10) and arms of a doll and the movements are accompanied by a noise. The arms are attached to sleeves (5) fitted on a transversal shaft (5c) which rotates. The head is attached to a sleeve (9a) fitted on a shaft (9c) which rotates perpendicularly (X-X) to this. The shafts of the arms are joined to forks (11a, 11b) and the shaft of the head is joined to a disc with arms (13a, 13b) which fit into these. When one arm is rotated, the head and the other arm also turn and this closes switches (22a, 22b) to produce a noise.
