The screw-thread closure device with originality safeguard for containers, in particular bottles, in which tear-off segments (11) with spring tabs (13) facing away from the closing direction are brought into engagement with sawtooth-type cams (3), facing in the closing direction, on the container neck (1) in such a way that they tear off during the initial opening of the closure.
