Surface clearing of floating sludge from circular tanks - using blade suspended from bridge, the blade being raised, lowered and reciprocated

The surface clearing blade is arranged in front of the inlet to the sludge collector, suspended from the clearer bridge in an installation for clearing the surface of a circular treatment tank. The blade can be swung horizontally as well as lifted and lowered by means of a motorised unit. As it moves towards the sludge collector, the clearer blade is immersed, whilst as it swings back it is lifted above the surface of the water. This provides a means of clearing floating sludge from the surface of a circular tank in an efficient manner without complications.
