PURPOSE:To obtain a sound generator which excells in the anti-input performance and the frequency characteristics by forming the driving part by connecting plural units of piezoelectric plates in series and parallel in terms of the mechanical and electric sense respectively. CONSTITUTION:Driving part 3 is formed piezoelectric plates 3a, 3b...3n which are polarized in the thickness direction and possess the electrode on the opposing surfaces to each other. And these piezoelectric plates are stacked and pasted mechanically and in series so that the polarization directions of the adjacent piezoelectric plates may be set in the opposite direction to each other. At the same time, the electrodes of the piezoelectric plate are connected to lead wires 7 and 8 in order to secure the parallel formation in the electric sense. Such driving part 3 is fixed to frame 2 by supporter 6, and diaphragm 2 is attached to the front part of the driving part. Thus the driving force is increased by utilizing the vibration of the thickness direction of the piezoelectric plate, improving the frequency characteristics. |
