PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of photoelectric conversion by reflecting the rays of light directly incident upon a part except the light receiver face of the solar cell element from a mirror and by applying it to the receiver face. CONSTITUTION:The mirror 6 of evaporated metal film is formed on the face of light receiver side of the supporter 2 that covers the back of the solar battery element 3. The rays of light a directly incident upon a part except the receiver face of the solar battery element 3 is reflected from the mirror 6, and is further done from both the interface between the filter and the clear substance 1 and another one between the clear substance and the air through the course b, and reaches the receiver face of the solar battery element 3 through the courses C1, C2 to contribute to the photoelectric conversion. Since a part of rays d not reflected from the interfaces is emitted to the outside of the cell and is not converted into heat, the increase of temperature can be minimized. |
